Founder and lead volunteer at ProjectGiiV, Olamide Jasanya has continued to extend the vision of his philanthropic activities to include artistic development of the less priviledged.
Leveraging his visual and performing talents, Jasanya spearheaded the heartwarming initiative under ProjectGiiV to empower disadvantaged children at orphanages in Lagos.
Through this initiative, he aimed not only to provide material support but also to nurture the creative talents of these children, offering them a platform for self-expression and personal growth.
The event which held earlier in the month, brought together children from Bale of Mercy orphanage to participate in a day filled with creativity and inspiration.
, along with a team of volunteers, facilitated interactive art workshops where the children were encouraged to explore their artistic abilities. Under his guidance, the children learned to create paintings, each stroke reflecting their unique perspectives and experiences.
Speaking about the initiative, Jasanya said, “Art has the power to transcend boundaries and uplift spirits. Through ProjectGiiV, we wanted to provide these children with an opportunity to express themselves creatively and discover their inner talents. It was truly heartening to witness their enthusiasm and passion for art.
“The event not only provided a platform for creative expression but also fostered a sense of camaraderie and joy among the children. As they immersed themselves in the world of colors and brushes, laughter echoed through the halls of the orphanage, filling the air with hope and optimism.”
