Mary Dinah Foundation, Lagos Partner on Child Protection Initiatives

Mary Dinah Foundation has joined force with the Lagos State Ministry of Youth and Social Development to strengthen child protection efforts in the state.

This partnership heralded a new phase in the care of children in orphanages, government homes for children with special needs, and juvenile centres in Lagos State.

Mary Dinah, Lady of Ellington, Founder and CEO of the Foundation, has been designated Special Envoy on Child Protection and will be supporting the state in overseeing children homes in the state.

By the partnership too, the foundation has a unique opportunity to elevate vulnerable children in crucial areas such as education, child protection, welfare, health, and nutrition, along with recreational activities and mental health support.

The partnership will also be solidified by an execution of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) by both parties ensuring that they work collaboratively towards achieving shared objectives.

The primary goal is not only to contribute to the advancement of child protection and orphanage welfare but also to foster an integrated approach that enhances overall effectiveness, efficiency, and sustainability of initiatives dedicated to improving the well-being of children in Lagos.

The foundation had pledged its time, resources, and heartfelt dedication to this noble cause.

Beyond the borders of Nigeria, the Foundation also extends its impactful works to other countries where it operates, demonstrating its commitment to making a significant and lasting impact on the next generation.
