The Rise and Fall of Pastor Chris’ Marriage

In 1991, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome celebrated a significant chapter in his life by marrying Anita Ebhodaghe.

The modest wedding ceremony took place in Nigeria, symbolizing their shared faith and commitment to ministry.

Over the next two decades, their marriage became an integral part of the growth of Christ Embassy.

Both Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and Anita Ebhodaghe played important roles in growing the ministry.

However, in 2014, the couple decided to part ways, and by 2016, their divorce was finalized, marking the conclusion of their marriage.

Despite facing this personal setback, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome redirected his focus to his global ministry.

Through impactful teachings and humanitarian efforts, he continued to make a positive impact on the lives of many people.

Anita Ebhodaghe’s Role in Christ Embassy’s Growth

Anita Ebhodaghe, who was once married to Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, played a big role in the early days of their joint ministry.

They were married from 1991 until they separated in 2014 and officially divorced in 2016.

Both Anita and Pastor Chris were crucial in making Christ Embassy grow. They both contributed to its outreach and development.

Even though they are not married anymore, Anita’s impact during her time in the ministry is still remembered. It shows how important she was in the church’s history, being a big part of its growth.

Since her marriage with Pastor Chris Oyakhilome ended, Anita Ebhodaghe has kept a relatively low profile.

She focuses on her own life and interests now. Despite the changes, her contribution during her time with the ministry is still recognized as significant.

Adding to the family joy, Carissa Sharon’s marriage to Phillip Frimpong and the birth of their daughter in 2021 marked more happy occasions, introducing a new generation to the Oyakhilome family lineage.

In contrast, Charlene Oyakhilome maintains a more private life compared to her sister. Yet, she shares the family’s spiritual commitments, upholding the values instilled by her father.

Together, Carissa Sharon and Charlene Oyakhilome represent the continuation of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s legacy, each contributing uniquely to the faith and community work central to the Oyakhilome family even after the end of Pastor Chris’ marriage.

The commitment to faith and ministry within the Oyakhilome family extends beyond Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s immediate household.

His siblings, Kathy Woghiren and Ken Oyakhilome, actively participate in Christ Embassy’s work too.

Kathy Woghiren holds prominence in the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry, contributing significantly to the ministry’s cultural and artistic aspects.

On the other hand, Ken Oyakhilome serves in a pastoral capacity within the church, offering spiritual guidance to its members.

Together, the Oyakhilome family forms a dynamic unit, with each member playing a significant role in the global ministry, upholding their shared commitment to spreading the Christian faith.

Anita in Remarriage?
