The Arewa Integrity Youth Forum, a socio-political group, has berated the national leader of the All Progressives Congress ( APC), Bola Tinubu, for his comments against the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Mr. Ibe Kachikwu, in relation to the ongoing fuel crisis across the country.
In a statement signed by its cordinator, Ibrahim Jibrin Abubakar, the group expressed support for the ongoing reforms in the oil sector, noting that the advent of Kachikwu has cleansed the oil sector of hawks who had over the years held the sector hostage.
Abubakar expressed dismay at the comments credited to Tinubu who had in the beginning of the administration advised Nigerians to be patient with the government as it is trying to undo the damage allegedly caused by the previous administration.
According to him, Nigerians perfectly understand the current situation in the supply and distribution of fuel to reach everyone and this is the major reason there hasnot been any form of protest or uprising as was done in the past.
