Abllat Company Nigeria Limited, manufacturers and marketers of Yoyo Bitters, emerged winner of the Overall Best Pavilion at the recent 2012 Lagos International Trade Fair, which held between November 2 and 11, 2012 at the Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos.

The company beat other participants such as Dangote Group, Lagos State Government, The People’s Republic of China, LAGBUS, Omatek Computers, NEM Insurance, amongst others, to the Overall Best Pavilion ticket.
Presenting the award to Abllat, the Lagos State Deputy Governor, Mrs. Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, commended the management and staff members of the company for its industry, ingenuity, leadership, innovation and continuous development.

The Managing Director/CEO of Abllat, Dr. Oluwatobi Abiola, thanked the consumers of Yoyo Bitters for their “discerning taste for quality and original bitters which has endeared them to the brand over the years”.

He further commended the staff for their unwavering dedication and undiluted loyalty which, he said have helped the company put up an impressive showing at every outing. He pledged that Yoyo Bitters, as the market leader, will continue to meet and surpass the expectations of its discerning consumers in the years ahead.

Over the years, Abllat Company Nigeria Limited and its flagship brand, Yoyo Bitters, have won a number of awards and recognitions both in trade fair exhibitions and in the health sector. Previous awards included Best Innovative Local Manufacturer of the Year (2007), Best Participant of the Year (2011), both in the Lagos International Trade Fair, and the Outstanding Exhibitor award at the 4th Abuja International Trade Fair organized by the Abuja Chamber of Commerce, Mines, Industry and Agriculture.

The brand had only recently introduced another innovative line extension tagged Yoyo Bitters Soft Gel Caplets, which offers its consumers the option of taking the product in a caplet format, thus addressing the need of those who are wary of the characteristic bitter taste of bitters.
