Governor Patrick Yakowa

The Kaduna state government has distanced Governor Patrick Yakowa from an advertorial in a local newspaper in the state by an alleged faceless group insinuating that he may succeed President Goodluck Jonathan in 2015.

The state government in a statement signed by the Senior Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Publicity, Mr. Reuben Buhari described the advertorial as mischievous.

Buhari said the advertorial, placed by one Abdulkadir Danbatta, President of a faceless and unregistered group known as Northern Democratic Alliance was a sheer mischief, aimed at pitching the governor against the President, adding that even the phone number published along with the advertorial was found to belong to a woman based in the South Eastern part of country.
