The United Bank for Africa Plc (UBA) and MoneyGram International Money Transfer, have assured that they would continue to offer quality services to their customers.
Officials of both institutions gave this assurance at the UBA-MoneyGram 15 year’s anniversary promo held in Lagos.
Speaking at the event, Business Development Manager, Anglophone West Africa, MoneyGram, Oluwakemi Okusanya, said that the relationship between both institutions had brought about the best partnership in terms of remittances.
Okusanya said: “Over the years, UBA has proved to be a worthy partner and both institutions have come together to build the best remittances partnership.
“Today in Nigeria, we have over 3,000 MoneyGram locations with the support of UBA. Together with UBA, we have been able to build a brand that is a delight to our customers. Our partnership with UBA is strong and valued and we shall continue to work together.”
Earlier, Product Manager, UBA-MoneyGram Services, Stella Okojie, stated that the draw which led to the reward of 30 customers out of 60,000 entries, commenced in July and ended in October.
“At UBA, we place a lot of premium on our customers and the promo was a way to reward them. Without our people in the diaspora, we can’t be talking about remittances businesses,” she added.
At the end of the draw, 30 customers won gifts ranging from home theater, standing fridge and LCD television.
Among the 10 customers that won home theater each were James Elliot, Mark Eriamiator, and Jadeshola Anifowose. Also, for the LCD, some of the 10 customers that won were Jude Alex, Justina BIIRA, and Constance Oji. Similarly, Terry Akembor, Sikira Dosummu and Mattew Ebalu, were among the 10 customers that also won standing fridge each.
