Two car bombs in central Baghdad killed at least 13 people and wounded 30 more near a busy main intersection, police and hospital sources said on Tuesday.
Two clouds of black smoke rose above where the two bombs exploded minutes apart, reports Reuters.
The explosions followed a spate of attacks in Baghdad and across the country a week ago that killed more than 100 people, in a coordinated surge of violence against mostly Shi'ite Muslim targets.
