National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Bamanga Tukur Thursday called for the enthronement of party supremacy in the affairs of the party, explaining that at all times, PDP as an institution is more important than the President, Governors and the members of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party.
Also, the Governor of Kaduna state, Mukhtar Yero who was visiting members of the PDP NWC for the first time after his emergence as governor said that his main priority is security, stating that without it, there would be no development in the state.
Speaking when the Kaduna state governor, Yero and his deputy, Nuhu Bajoga paid a courtesy to the NWC members, the National Chairman, Alhaji Bamnaga Tukur, said, “let us build the institution of government strong, it is not the personality, it is the institution. For us, the party is supreme, it is not the NWC or the President or the Governors, it is the institution of the party itself that is supreme because all of us come in and go.’’
