Organisers of LAIF Award have announced Etisalat Chief Executive Officer, Steve Evans, as Chair for this year’s festival even as APCON has concluded plans to sponsor the maide edition of Younf LAIFERS category. Evans will chair the grand finale and Award Dinner scheduled to hold on November 3, 2012 at the Federal Palace Hotel Victoria Island, Lagos.


Young LAIFERS and Digital Awards are two new categories introduced this year.  AAAN President and Chairman of LAIF Management Board, Mrs. Bunmi Oke, said the Young LAIFERS Award will provide a platform for young practitioners to unleash creative potential in a competitive environment as well as improve their craftsmanship. Participants of this category are young practitioners less than 30 years of age, working within a recognized advertising organization. APCON Registrar and CEO, Alhaji Bello Kankarofi, while commending the new category said APCON will support credible initiatives aimed at improving the knowledge base of practitioners as well as encourage the continued growth of advertising education.
