As various interest groups continue to clamour for state creation from the present Imo State, the people of Ohaji/Egbema local government area of the state are yet to decide which area of the political divide they would join if a new state is eventually created.

In a communiqué issued at the end of a one day leaders of thought/stakeholders meeting at Abacheke-Egbema in the state, the stakeholders stated that, the people of Ohaji/Egbema were not only consulting with relevant bodies and interest groups, but also have not yet decided whether to be part of the prospective new state or Imo State.
