Nigeria's second republic President, Alhaji Aliyu Shehu Shagari has said that he owed most of his education and achievements in politics to the early tutelage he got from the late Premier of the Northern Region and Sarduana of Sokoto, Sir Ahmadu Bello.
Shagari, who bared his mind Tuesday while speaking at the launching of the Ahmadu Bello University Golden Anniversary Commemorative Stamps in Abuja, said though he may not have attended any university but that the knowledge he acquired from Ahmadu Bello and the late Prime Minister, Alhaji Tafawa Belewa was enough to see him through the challenges of office during his tenure as President of the country.
