Newcastle strikers, Papiss Cisse and Demba Ba

Senegal international strikers Papiss Cisse and Demba Ba will miss Newcastle's Europa League match away to Portuguese side Maritimo on Thursday.

Cisse, yet to score for the English Premier League team this season, has been withdrawn because of illness.

Demba Ba has been omitted from the squad, only one day after his agent said the player does not understand his current role at the club.

Nigeria-born midfielder Sammy Ameobi has been included.

French side Bordeaux and Belgian outift Bruges are the other teams in Group D.
