Disclosing this in Lagos, chairman of the organising committee of the fair, Mr. Ifeanyichukwu Agwu, said having the fair declared open by the Vice President underscores the seriousness of the Federal Government to encourage and support every effort geared towards developing the automotive industry in Nigeria.
Agwu, who is also the Managing Director of BKG Exhibitions Limited, organisers of the fair, noted that the presence of Sambo would go a long way in reinforcing the aims and objectives of the show which, according to him, is to fast-track the development of the automotive sector in Nigeria.
He disclosed that the Abuja international Motor Fair, which will parade over 50 participants from Nigeria and abroad, remains the unparalleled gathering of established brands as well as new entrants. He stressed the importance of sustaining the show and called for more efforts to promote and support investments into the sector.
