S.Africa Net Reserves Rise to $47.936bn in June

South Africa's net gold and foreign exchange reserves rose slightly to $47.936 billion at the end of June from $47.672 billion in May, data from the Reserve Bank showed on Friday.


Gross reserves went up to $49.218 billion in June from $48.907 billion the previous month while the forward position, which represents the bank's unsettled spot or swap transactions, slipped to $6.221 billion from $6.270 in May.
