Risk and asset management group, Royal Exchange Plc has pledged its support for the 5th annual edition of the Leadership Conference for Secondary School Prefects in Lagos State.
The conference, which is being jointly organised by the Foundation for Youth Education, has as its theme “The Youth as Catalyst in the National Transformation Agenda”.
The Executive Director of the firm, Alhaji Auwalu Muktari who confirmed this in a statement in Lagos said over 1,000 participants from 50 secondary schools across the state have registered for the event billed for next week at the Igbobi College.
According to him, the conference would be incorporate a lecture on insurance as well as inspirational discussions on leadership, attitudinal change and patriotism.
He re-stated the commitment of the Royal Exchange group to the development of youths across the country saying, “unless we catch them young and nuture them at this stage, the country’s future is most certainly fraught with uncertainty and inepititude.”
Muktari urged parents and teachers to continue to pay attention to the academic and moral developments of their children and wards as this demographic segment constitutes the real foundation of nationhood.
Royal Exchange group before now sponsored the 4th edition of the conference last year and Nigerian Idol.
