Resourcery is Cisco’s First TelePresence Authorised Partner

Resourcery, a Systems Integrator with operations in West Africa has announced that it has achieved TelePresence Video Advanced Plus Authorised Technology Provider (ATP) status from Cisco.

The designation recognises Resourcery as having fulfilled the training requirements and programme prerequisites to sell, deploy and support Cisco TelePresence Video products and solutions at the Advanced Plus level.

The Cisco TelePresence Video Advanced Plus ATP Programme is focused on providing a new ways of working in which everyone, everywhere can be more productive through face-to-face collaboration with TelePresence Video solutions.

The solution builds on a partner’s deep knowledge of TelePresence video and extends its offerings to sell and support the single-screen Cisco TelePresence solutions based on the Cisco Unified Communications Manager platform and TelePresence Interoperability Protocol.

“This outstanding accomplishment demonstrates the Resourcery’s determination to provide our customers with the best Information Technology (IT) solutions available. From our earlier partnership with a leading telecommunications company in Nigeria, to Lagos State government and Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority, we have already demonstrated an overwhelming expertise in providing TelePresence solutions to our customers. This new strategic partnership with Cisco provides even higher level of benefits to our customers,” said Business Solution Manager for voice and video solution at Resourcery, Mr. Olugbenga Adanlawo.

“Our customers can now enjoy life-like, high-definition, conferencing facilities with superior audio and video which allows participants meet their colleagues, customers and business partners across a virtual table. Participants can enjoy a same-room meeting experience, even if they are located in different locations around the world. They can also meet more often and enjoy more productive sessions which in turn help to improve business interactions as well as building stronger customer relationships,” he added.

As the first Advanced Plus ATP partner in Africa, Resourcery has again pulled ahead of the pack, Adanlawo said.

Business Development Manager for Africa at Cisco, Mr. Nizar Saadi, said: “The Cisco TelePresence Video Advanced Plus ATP Programme is designed to enable partners to take advantage of the tremendous market opportunities ahead, not only in the TelePresence space but also in the overall collaboration market.” As a Cisco TelePresence Video Advanced Plus ATP Partner, Resourcery has made an investment in the sales, technical and life cycle services capabilities to deliver the industry’s most comprehensive and interoperable Cisco TelePresence Video portfolio, Saadi said. 

The Cisco Authorised Technology Provider Programme is part of the Cisco go-to-market strategy for emerging technologies. The programme helps Cisco to define the knowledge, skills and services that channel partners need to successfully sell, deploy and support an emerging technology. As the market changes, an ATP designation may be discontinued or may evolve into a Cisco specialisation, the company said.
