There are fresh indications that Real Madrid could reignite their interest in Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero.

According to AS, los Blancos officials are far from happy with their current options in front and plan to make a fresh assault on long-term target Sergio Aguero in the summer.

The Argentine striker is not happy at Etihad, and he would jump at the chance to return to Madrid, where his son is currently residing, reports futaa.com.

Back in September, Aguero admitted that City was a second option for him after Real Madrid had failed to make a bid for his services, and he remains keen on a move to Santiago Bernabeu.

It remains to be seen whether Manchester City will be prepared to sell in the summer, although they might not be able to resist a big money offer from los Blancos.

Sergio Aguero has scored a total of 32 goals in 57 Premier League matches for City, with his goal against QPR on the final day of last season proving crucial for the league title.
