Project Fame

The much anticipated unveiling of the successful music talents who have been admitted into the MTN Project Fame West Africa music academy for the fifth season of the show will take place today with the usual opening gala ceremony. Speaking on the fifth season of the show, General Manager, Consumer Marketing, MTN, Kola Oyeyemi said “the time has come once again to empower another set of West African youths in line with our brand philosophy of “enriching lives”.

There is a twist in the production as this year’s show will be having singer Ade Bantu as an addition to Femi Aderibigbe, popularly known as ‘Kwame’, Ghanaian international singer and songwriter, Bibie Brew, Nigerian singer, Nomoreloss and  producer, Tayo Ibitoye known as TY Mix as the judges on the show. The Faculty members are Principal Joke Silva, Music Director, Ben Ogbeiwi, Dance Instructor, Kaffy and Voice Coach, Dupe Ige.

Winner of last season, Monica Ogah encourages the contestants to gear up and be at the top of their game because there has to be a winner of the fifth season. Letting them in on her winning tactics for last season she said “I believed in God and I also believe in the talent he gave me. This show has produced four winners in four seasons. This is season 5 which means that season’s 5 winner is among the contestants to be unveiled at the opening gala.”
