President Goodluck Jonathan
Aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the last governorship election in Edo State, Mr. Kenneth Imansuagbon, Tuesday called on Nigerians, irrespective of their religious belief and ethnic affiliations, to rally round President Goodluck Jonathan and the newly re-elected governor of the state, Adams Oshiomhole, to enable them meet their transformation agenda for country.
In his Ramadan message to the Muslim faithful, Imansuagbon urged Muslims and Christians to put their differences, if any, aside and work for the progress of Nigeria.
“We are all brothers and sisters; you are either a Muslim or a Christian. What is happening in Nigeria today is a passing phase in our development and national life as a nation and it should rather unite us as a people other than dividing us.”
He urged Muslim and Christians to use the period of Eil-el-fitri to pray for Nigeria. “Nigerians should rather think of how to support this administration than criticising the government.” he added.
