There are indications that members of the Plateau State House of Assembly may compel the state Governor, Jonah David Jang to pay striking Local government workers in the state.

This  emerged Thursday at the plenary presided over by the Speaker of the House, John Clerk Dabwam, where members condemned in strong terms the high handedness being demonstrated by Jang in handling the dispute.

The Lawmakers, in separate remarks, described as undemocratic the way and manner the Governor was approaching the matter, stressing that, the “No Work No Pay” declared by Jang has never been implemented in any part of the world and wondered why the governor still insist on it.
