Gunmen again attacked the restive Riyom Local Government Council of Plateau State in the early hour of Tuesday killing three persons, including a member of the Special Task Force (STF) deployed to the area to keep peace.

It was gathered that the gunmen attacked some people, who were on thier way from Jol to Sho village and also killed the STF officer who was on a commercial motorcycle on his way to his duty post.

The commercial motorcylist was however lucky to have escaped unhurt.

In a similar incident, another set of gunmen in the early hour of Tuesday killed two people at Jebu Sop and sacked the villagers from their abode setting their houses ablaze.
