Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi
Eighteen players took breakfast but by lunch time the number of Super Eagles players in camp had risen to 24, in fact the only player that was still being expected was Gbolahan Salami, who gave word that he would be in camp before the team takes dinner.
The spirit in camp is at the optimum with most of the players saying they cannot wait to clash with seven times African champions; Pharaohs of Egypt.
The absence of Head Coach, Stephen Keshi was obvious but did not distract training, as his assistants showed that they are capable enough, when the man popularly called Big Boss is not around.
There are also no serious injury worries in camp, except for winger, Solomon Jabason, who came to camp with a slight knock. He was promptly asked by the medical team not engage in shooting as the knock will heal in no time. He took part in the nearly two hours of training that the team embarked on Tuesday morning with little signs of the injury.
Trial games are already being planned for the team, for proper tune up of the team before the clash against Egypt in barely a week’s time.
