By Chuks Okocha

Two meeting of the governors of the 36 states of the federation and 23 governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will take place Monday.

The meeting of the governors under the aegis of the Nigeria Governors Forum will take place first to discuss issues like constitution amendment and the litigations which the governors instituted against the federal government over the continued withdrawals by the NNC and the PPPRA from the federation account.

Meanwhile, the governors elected on the platform of the PDP will also meet where they may commence the compilation of signatures of National Executive Committee (NEC) members to compel the holding of a NEC meeting.

The last NEC meeting took place in July 2012. The NEC meeting is expected to hold every quarter of the year.
