A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party {PDP}, in Ogun State, Dr. Femi Majekodunmi has scored the governors’ of the Action Congress of Nigeria {ACN} controlled Oyo and Ogun states higher in their first year in office, pointing out that they still have the opportunity to improve on their performances. Majekodunmi in his visit to the Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists {NUJ} in Ibadan maintained that the CAN governors in the two states have not done badly in his assessment of their scorecard in the past one year but warned them against being distracted by sycophants. Majekodunmi, a medical expert expressed concern on the growing inability of the anti-graft agencies to curb corruption in high places, fearing that continued corruption and the kid treatment of corrupt politicians might trigger revolution in the country. He lamented the continued pampering of past governors and administrators who sued their offices to enrich themselves and canvassed for a stiffer law to stop the graft virus from spreading beyond this level.
