Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) has advised the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to forget its plan to regain political control of Offa Local Government council in Kwara State. 

The party said no matter the level of “intimidation or hallucination,” PDP would not defeat ACN at the polls. In a statement issued Tuesday by its National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the party urged its members and the entire people of Offa to ignore the purported threats from the PDP-led government of the state and continue to support ACN.

According to ACN, “Only a party with no sense of history like the PDP will dare toy with the collective resolve of the people of Offa.

“When almost the entire Northern Nigeria was under the strangle hold of the defunct Northern People’s Congress, the people of Offa dared to be different. They cast their votes for the defunct Action Group and no amount of political persecution, cajoling or intimidation could change their resolve.”
