As part of fulfilling its purpose of promoting oral health in Nigeria, Procter and Gamble, through its dental product Oral-B is partnering the Nigerian Dental Association at a three-day conference, holding in Lagos. The theme is ‘Non communicable diseases, the dentist and Dentinal Hypersensitivity’.

The President of the Nigeria Dental Association, Dr. Femi Orebanjo; speaking on the presence of Oral B as a first time participant at the NDA conference shared that the NDA was pleased by the support and interest P&G had shown in the promotion of Oral health since 2011 when the Oral B regimen was fully launched in Nigeria.
Speaking on the Oral-B product he stated that “Oral B Pro-Health with Stannous flouride is a product they believe in” He also commented on the increase in awareness of Oral health since the brand was launched in Nigeria in 2011.
Head of External Relations, P&G Nigeria, Mrs. Temitope Iluyemi, commenting on the partnership with the NDA, stated that P&G’s purpose is to touch and improve the lives of more consumers in more parts of the world more completely. ‘This partnership was a reflection of P&G’s commitment to the Oral Health of Nigerians as a means of helping to touch and improve their lives’.

One of the dentists present at the conference, Mrs. Funmilayo Emeka, of Odontoville Dental Clinics, a foremost dental clinic in Lagos, revealed that she has been using the Oral B range of products since its launch and recommends it to her patients regularly. She also expressed that she was impressed with the results she had seen since she began continuous use of the Oral B Pro Health All round protection tooth paste.
Other dentists and consumers vouched their support for the brand and shared their positive brand experiences as they took a visit to the experiential Oral-B brushing centre and had free checkups at the Oral-B mobile dental van.
