Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State
Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State Wednesday announced more changes to his cabinet. Dr (Mrs) Cordelia Aiwize, formerly the Commissioner for Commerce and Industry will now serve as the Commissioner for Health while Hajia Maimuna Momodu, formerly the Commissioner Women Affairs and Social Development has been dropped from the cabinet.
The governor had, Tuesday, assigned portfolios to seven new Commissioners sworn-in last week, while redeploying two others.
The new commissioners and their portfolios are Mrs Inumidun Stella Idehen, (Women Affairs and Social Development); Mr Ekpenisi Omorotionmwan, (Education); Hon Lucky Egwegiemokhai James, (Local Governments and Chieftaincy Affairs); Aanena Elizabeth Jemitola (Arts & Culture) and Peter Onyekewem Ikem (Special Duties, Oil & Gas). Others are: Barrister Chris Osoba Ebare (Budget & Economic Planning) and Barrister Osikhena-Boih Donald (Commerce and Industry).
Meanwhile, Hon Abdul Oroh, formerly Commissioner for Arts and Culture will now serve as Commissioner for Agriculture, while Hon Victor Enoghama, formerly Commissioner for Local Governments and Chieftaincy Affair will serve as Commissioner for Transport.
