Abia state Governor Chief Theodore Orji


Abia state Governor Chief Theodore Orji has called on Abians in diaspora to come home and invest. The Governor made the call in Houston   during a town hall meeting with the people of the state resident in the US. In a statement by the chief press Secretary Ugochukwu Emezue,   Orji told the large crowd that came for the interactive session, that he was in a haste to develop the state after years of neglect by the previous administrations. According to the Governor, what he is doing now is to lay a solid foundation as exemplified in the numerous projects he has had embarked in the past one year. He listed such projects as the diagnostic centre, international conference centre, the new secretariat, new government house ,high court, Ubani and industrial markets in Umuahia just to mention few.  Orji told his audience that he has embarked on road projects in Aba and Umuahia with a special emphasis on Ukwumango road.
