*Names Dan-Abia as NDDC MD, Osunbor as NLRC Chair, Mu'azu as PENCOM Boss

About one and half years after the exit of Mrs. Ifueko Omoigui-Okauru as the Executive Chairman of Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), President Goodluck Jonathan Wwsnesday sought Senate confirmation for M'fon Akpan as her replacement.
Jonathan in a letter addressed to Senate President David Mark, said the nomination was pursuant to the provision of Section 11a of the Federal Inland Revenue (establishment) Act 2007.
The letter read: "Pursuant to the provision of Section 11a of the Federal Inland Revenue (Establishment) Act, 2007, which stipulates that the Executive Chairman shall be appointed by the President, subject to confirmation by the Senate, I write to forward the name of M'fon Akpan, whose CV is attached herewith for consideration as Executive Chairman of Federal Inland Revenue Service.
