Former Managing Director of Okitipupa Oil Palm Company (OOPC), Mr. Gbenga Olatujoye, has been elected as the National President of National Palm Produce Association of Nigeria (NAPPAN).

Olatujoye is a member of the Presidential Committee on Oil Palm Transformation Value Chair Team. He obtained Higher National Diploma in Agricultural Engineering from the Federal College of Agriculture, Ibadan in 1992. He also obtained a Masters of Business Administration from the Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma in 2003. The former OOPC boss has over 20 years experience in the oil palm sector.

He had worked in the Araromi-Ayesan Oil Palm firm in Ondo State. He had also worked in the Benin, Edo State based Hatman oil firm. He was responsible for the revival of the then moribund OOPC, which suffered severe neglect in the hand of receiver-manager.
He took just six months to turn around OOPC. He is a principal consultant to Palm Field Development and Processing Limited
