Former president of the Nigeria Bar Association Chief Wole Olanipekun (SAN) has described the late Justice of the Supreme Court, Justice Kayode Esho as an exemplary judge with unequalled versatility and a just character.
Olanipekun said this in his reaction to the news of Justice Esho's demise.
According to the former Bar president, Esho was a brilliant and upright judge almost without blemish.
"He was a most versatile and profound jurist ;a jurisprudential potentate :a global personage :an incorruptible yet ably fair minded jurist; a role model and mentor to legion of lawyers and judges alike and a first class scholar," he said.
He noted that Justice Esho's character was scarce among legal practitioners and in the society at large, adding that the eminent jurist left a very big vacuum in the nations judiciary.
"His types are rare to breed in any clan or race. He was a great gift to humanity in general and Nigeria in particular. His brilliant and penetrating judgments will always bear evergreen testimonies to his thoroughness and analytical mind. He has left a big vacuum which will be too difficult to fill. May his great soul rest in peace," he added.
