Imo State Governor, Chief Rochas Okorocha, has charged the Federal Government to restore discipline in the democratic system to enable the country move forward.

The governor, who made this call Tuesday when officers of the Command and Staff College Jaji, Kaduna, paid him a courtesy visit at the Government House, Owerri, said lack of discipline had been the bane of the nation’s development.

Okorocha also suggested that discipline should be introduced as a subject in the primary, secondary and tertiary institutions in the country in order to sanitise the system.

He commended the military for inculcating discipline into the officers, while also commending the commandant of the College for his efforts in training officers in the institution.

In his speech earlier, the leader of the delegation and the Director, Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Major-General John Kwabe, said the purpose of their visit was to look into some critical issues such as national economy, national integration, food security and youth development.

He commended the state government for the massive infrastructural development going on in the state especially in the area of education.
