The Joint Task Force (JTF) operating in the Niger-Delta region,  Operation Pulo Shield has arrested three ocean going vessels with crew members of foreign nationalities,  including one Togolese and two Ghanaians and 30 Nigerians along Federal Ocean terminal Onne in Rivers State.

This was disclosed in a statement signed Wednesday and made available to THISDAY by the JTF Media Coordinator for Operation Pulo Shield, Lt-Col  Onyema Nwachukwu

Nwachukwu said that the vessels christened King I, MV Gift and MV Tiger Fish with 33 crew members were arrested by operatives of the JTF in multiple raid operations carried out from 1 – 19 March 2013 along Federal Ocean Terminal near Onne in Rivers State and are currently secured at 2 Brigade Nigerian Army, Gun Boat Company, Onne.
