The Acting Minister of Defence, Mrs. Olusola Obada has commissioned about 52 Seater Marcopolo buses, as part of the welfare provision to assist in the easy movement of staff of the ministry to and from work.

Obada noted Wednesday in Abuja that the 52-Seater buses, which were donated to the ministry by the former Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Air Chief Marshal Oluseyi Petinrin will help boost the staff morale.

Speaking further, the Minister assured the staff that this gesture was another way in which  the transformation agenda and dividends of good governance could get to the target audience.

“The staff of the ministry appreciated the gift, which  will motivate them to report early to work”, she said.
Also, Petinrin had earlier during the donation emphasised that the gesture will go a long way in cementing the cordial relationship between the military and its civilian counterparts.
