NPL Sets up Task Force to Monitor League

In its effort to see a successful conclusion of the current 2011/2012 League season, the Chairman of the Executive Board of the Nigeria Premier League (NPL), Chief Rumson Victor Baribote has picked some high profiled personalities to closely monitor the last matches of the League.

Baribote, while charging the secretariat on the task ahead for the remaining matches for the season, said that the high powered special Task-Force is to ensure a successful conclusion of the 2011/2012 League season.

According to him, effort of the NPL is to ensure that there is no compromise.

He said that journalists and other League stakeholders henceforth would be deployed to every league venue to give a match reports which may depict the actual picture of the League venue.

The present NPL administration led by Baribote in its move to restructure the NPL is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that the content of NPL Statutes is fully implemented.

He also enjoined all the 20 league clubs and officials to comply to the rule as report of the Tax Force will fully be applied.
