Ehigiamusoe cutting her birthday cake

It was a dream come through for the Managing Director, MicroInvestment Support Services Limited, Mrs. Elizabeth Ngozi Ehigiamusoe, as she launched her new gospel musical album “Ndidi” (meaning patience) during her 50th year anniversary marked recently in Lagos.
The idea for the album, she said started a long time ago. “I have many music albums credit including this one that is being launched,” she said.
The event, was witnessed by crème de la crème of the society who came to celebrate a woman who has been touching lives in all ramifications. Ehigiamusoe, born in Asaba, Delta State in 1962 to family of late Mr. Caleb and Mrs. Catherine Nmoemenam of Ezeawulu-Nibo in Anambra State, attended Abu-Ato Primary School, Asaba and later, Chartered Institute of Bankers, London by correspondence where she bagged part 1 of the certificate.
“Not satisfied with my level of education and perhaps encouraged by my husband’s large appetite for education, I moved to further my education with the University of Benin where I acquired Bachelor of Science in Accounting closely followed by a Master’s degree in Financial Management in 2011,” she said.
Married to Mr. Godwin Ehigiamusoe in 1988 after which they moved from Ogwashi-Uku to Benin City to set a project known as LAPO Microfinance Bank Limited, which was used initially to promote social advancement and grass-root development towards poverty alleviation. Her growing up days was not eventful hence her drive towards helping her fellows whenever they seek her for assistance.
