Nigeria winger Ahmed Musa has said he is thrilled to begin the second round of the Russian league with a goal for table-topping CSKA Moscow. He has now scored nine goals in the Russian Premier league and CSKA Moscow remain top of the standings with 46 points from 20 games.

Musa says he is delighted to start the league resumption with a goal and victory as CSKA Moscow beat hosts Krylya Sovetov 2-0.

"I thank Allah for the goal in the first game of the league resumption. I am very happy. I will keep doing my best till we win the league," Musa told MTNFootball.com

Musa, who is CSKA Moscow top scorer thus far, fired a fierce shot into the net in the 72nd minute to secure maximum three points for his club.
