Hosni Mubarak
The health of Egypt’s ousted president Mohammed Hosni Mubarak has deteriorated seriously, as his doctors expect his death soon.
Reports from Arab and Egyptian media show that Mubarak, who was sentenced to life imprisonment early this month, has been declared “clinically dead.”
The reports quoted sources close to the former president as saying “Mubarak asked to see his family members, who gained permission to visit him for two hours before he was announced clinically dead”.
Mubarak, who was toppled in the popular uprising last year, suffers from several diseases, notably cancer. Last year his lawyer announced that his health was deteriorating as he struggled with complications from stomach cancer
