Globacom has given out cheques of N6 million each to two additional subscribers who recently emerged winners in the ongoing Season 3 Glo “text4millions” promo.
The winners, Emeka Igwe, a businessman from Abakaliki, Ebonyi State and Shittu Shodeinde Talia, who had earlier won N12 million as the first monthly prize winner in the promo, were glad to collect their prizes during the presentation ceremony held in Lagos recently.
Other winners who collected prizes at the second prize presentation, were Abdulahi Murtala, Okpakpor Victor and Mulikatu Oseni who went home with cash prizes of N30,000 each.
Other Glo subscribers who recently won in the promo include Justice Ekundayo Kolawole who won N210,000, Adamu Abubakar and Robert Waiter who won N60,000 each while Helen Onyebuchi, Okali Ogbonnaya, Muritala Sardauna, Paul James, Shittu Fatai, , Enobong Umanah, Victor Ifeanyi, Alao Sule, Alice Archibong, and Jelili Olajide won cash prizes of N30,000 each.
Charles Igboka, Rufus Oladiran Ishola and Mohammed Lawal Mustapha also won i-pods each while Ugwu Chukwudi Justice, Ruth Alayande, and Abdullahi Abubakar won Samsung Galaxy tabs.
Speaking at the occasion, Globacom’s Head of Value Added Services, Samson Isa, said the presentation of prizes to the winners demonstrated Globacom’s commitment to positive initiatives that will add value, reward and transform the lives of its subscribers for good.
“Today, there is no doubt that the lives of the winners have been transformed simply by being on the Glo network and participating in the Glo text4millions promo. I wish to congratulate these new multi-millionaires for their good fortune while urging them to venture into wise investments that will bring them further rewards,” Isa said.
As they collected their cheques, the winners expressed gratitude to Glo for making them multi-millionaires because of their loyalty to the Glo network. They thanked Globacom Chairman, Dr. Mike Adenuga (GCON) and the staff of the company for being committed to changing the lives of subscribers on the Glo network through good tariff offerings, special promos and other unique initiatives.
Emeka Igwe, the businessman from Abakaliki, Ebonyi state who won N6 million in the promo told the audience that he was a loyal Glo subscriber who had earlier won N1 million in Season 2 of the promo but had full confidence that he would again win in the current season.
“When I won the N1 million, I used it to start the foundation of my house but I told my Pastor that I am sure that Glo would give me the rest of the money to complete the house. Now I have every reason to praise God and thank Glo for lifting me up with N6 million to complete the house”, he said.
For Shittu Shodeinde Talia, a trader in electric wires and cables who had earlier won N12 million in the current promo, the reaction was that of palpable joy. Singing songs of praise, he told the audience that the fact that he won again shows that Glo was absolutely transparent in its conduct of the promo.
