Liverpool head to Manchester United in the Premier League on February 11
Manchester United has been drawn to face Liverpool in the fourth round of the FA Cup at Anfield in the midst of hostilities between the clubs over racism, reports The Associated Press.
Liverpool striker Luis Suarez was banned for eight matches after being found guilty by the English Football Association of racially abusing United defender Patrice Evra during an October Premier League game.
Liverpool was unhappy with United’s conduct in the case, accusing the English champions of getting a rival’s top player banned “without anything beyond an accusation.”
Liverpool ousted Oldham on Friday in a game that was marred by accusations that an Oldham player was racially abused by fans at Anfield.
United beat holder Man City on Sunday. Chelsea was drawn to face MK Dons or Queens Park Rangers, while Sunderland entertain neighbours Middlesbrough.
The fifth round will definitely include a League One team after Stevenage drew Notts County.
The matches will be played on the weekend of Jan. 28-29.
