Mainstreet Bank Limited has said it donated relief materials to victims of the flood disaster in Delta State.
According to a statement, the a delegation from the bank led by its Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Tuedor-Matthews, made the donation.

It listed the relief materials to include blankets, mattresses, food items (cartons of milk, sugar, beverages; bags of rice, garri, beans), detergents, toiletries (soap, antiseptic, toothpaste), treated mosquito nets, etc.

Making the donation, Tuedor-Matthews noted: “Given the enormity of the disaster and destruction of lives and property left in its wake, the bank wish to identify with the government of the state to assist in ameliorating the plight of victims of the flood disaster”.

“We have come to sympathise with the state Government. No amount of relief can make up for what has been lost to the flood, but the gesture will bring a certain degree of comfort and succour to the families affected.  We are touched by the pains and grief the victims are passing through, which has led to the loss of lives, property and suffering”.
She assured that the bank will continue to support initiatives aimed at improving the standard of living of Nigerians.
