Nigeria’s national U-23 side on Saturday touched down at the Kotoka International Airport, Accra, Ghana at 20:05pm with a 35-man contingent for its final phase of camping ahead of the CAF U-23 Championship in Morocco.

The contingent, led by the first assistant coach Stanley Eguma, comprises 26 players and nine officials.

Olympic Eagles Chief Coach, Austin Eguavoen, who formed the advance party to inspect the Lizzy Sports Complex, will join the rest of the team on Monday.

“This is a good camping facility, the environment is excellent and with over six training pitches and flood lights; we will be able to try out a lot of techniques in the next ten days,” said Coach Stanley Eguma on the team’s arrival to the Sports Complex.

The Olympic Eagles observed Sunday as rest day with field work scheduled to begin on Monday morning.
