London 2012: Bolt, Blake Ease Through to 100m Final

Usain Bolt, Yohan Blake, Asafa Powell and Tyson Gay all qualified for the men's 100m final.

Americans Justin Gatlin - whose 9.82 seconds was the fastest semi-final time, 0.05 quicker than rival Bolt - and Ryan Bailey also progressed.

Dutchman Churandy Martina made it through and Powell and Richard Thompson qualified as fastest losers, reports the BBC.

Britain's Adam Gemili and Dwain Chambers just missed out on fastest qualifier places.

Chambers ran 10.05 seconds to come fourth in the second heat and miss out on a final place to Thompson, who beat him by 0.03 seconds, while Gemili was 0.01 slower than Chambers in finishing third in heat three.

GB's James Desaolu came seventh in the first heat and also misses out on the final, which is scheduled for 21:50  on Sunday.
