LG Electronics has introduced into the Nigerian market the world’s first 84-inch Ultra Definition (UD) Cinema three dimension (3D) Smart television (TV).
The TV is a pivotal moment in TV history because the Ultra HD 4K technology will make it possible for consumers to enjoy crystal clear picture quality.
Also known as 84LM9600, the 84-inch TV is the world’s largest Ultra High Definition TV which delivers an unparalleled picture resolution of 2160p; 4 times higher than full HD, and is incredibly vivid and crisp, even when viewed from close distances.
It also comes with an enhanced sound which no other TV currently offers. Its 2.2 speaker system delivers a sound output of 50W, boasting two woofers, which delivers an incredible depth and energy, bringing eye-encompassing visuals to life with exhilarating sound.
The General Manager, Home Entertainment Division, LG Electronics, Mr. Dave Shin, who spoke to THISDAY at the launch of the product in Lagos the company is an established global leader in the African market aiming to create innovations as well as positively impact on the lives of its customers.
According to him, at present, the company is taking measures to fortify and grow its highly successful brand. He added that the LG is also moving to please its customers with different brands of product as part of ongoing efforts to become a total energy solution provider.

Shin disclosed that the company is also inventing technologies that have improved lives across Africa.

Designed specifically for the African market, the mosquito-repelling technology of our Anti-mosquito air conditioner is another innovative feature geared to the African market, while the 84 inch TV was produced as a home cinema for the African families,” he said.
