The annual Dubai Lynx Awards, currently in its seventh year of setting the benchmark for creative excellence in communications in the MENA region, are now accepting entries.
Taking place in Dubai March 10 to 13, 2013, entries will be judged during the Dubai Lynx International Festival of Creativity by top industry experts from around the world in 14 different award categories: Craft, Design, Direct, Film, Integrated, Interactive, Media, Mobile, Outdoor, PR, Promo and Activation, Print, Radio and launching this year, Branded Content & Entertainment.
LG Electronics, one of the global leaders in consumer electronics and home appliances, has won the 2012 “Most Trusted Brand Award” in home appliances category.
BrandHealth gave the recognition to LG Electronics for it’s innovative home appliances in Nigerian market. Justifying the award at an event in Lagos, BrandHealth Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Emman Udowoima, said the award was an outcome of extensive research conducted and LG brand undisputedly emerged as the most trusted home appliance brand in Nigeria. LG, he said, has distinguished itself going by the array of quality products it offers.
In an acceptance speech, Corporate Marketing Manager, LG Electronics, Mr. Rajesh Agnihotri, said: “We are committed to providing our teeming consumers with first-rate products that meet their peculiar needs. Our responsive posture is what has endeared many to the LG brand.”
The Most Trusted Brand awards is an initiative of BrandHealth, a brands research outfit, aimed at mobilising Nigerian consumers to demand for accountability from brands and services providers.
LG has introduced a number of innovative home appliances into Nigerian market. The robot vacuum cleaner known as Hom-Bot, a stand-alone cleaner with capability of cleaning floors independently; LG Anti-mosquito Air Conditioner, which comes with an ultrasonic device that gives off ultrasonic sound at a frequency of 30-100KHZ, which knocks down as well as repels mosquitoes are few of such devices that the brand has delighted Nigerian consumers with in recent times.
