It was a free for all fight  Thursday  for  top chieftains of the  People’s Democratic Party (PDP)     over  allegations of imposition of candidates and delegate lists for the forthcoming local government election  in the state.

This came   barely half an hour, after the Kogi State Governor , Capt. Idris Wada, addressed  stakeholders of  the kogi State Chapter , of  the party  on the need to maintain peace and strengthen party discipline before the election.

The  incident , which took place at the glass hall of lord Lugard house,  government house , Lokoja,  saw over three top chieftains of the party in hot exchanges of words and blows, following  the admonishment of the Governor that party officials should desist from imposing candidates on the party.
