Kano state Police command has disclosed that a three-man armed robbery gang has been smashed after robbing a Kano-based Filling Station of N2.65 million.
The State Police Commissioner, Ibrahim Idris said at a press statement weekend that the stolen money which was recovered by the police was the ‘ proceed from the company’s filling station located at Tudun Wada local government area which is about 120 kilometres to the State capital.
It was gathered that the person who gave information that led to the apprehension of the gang was the senior brother to one of the robbers.
The statement added that the suspects are helping the police in their investigation, while the company’s station Manager has been declared wanted for complicity in the botched robbery attempt.
