The  Southern Kaduna Peoples Union(SOKAPU), a socio cultural umbrella for the christian populated part of Kaduna State, has raised alarm over allege influx of Fulani herdsmen from troubled areas in Plateau State to their communities.

SOKAPU President, Dr. Ephraim Goje said such migration was unacceptable considering the persistent attacks communities in the Southern part of the state have been going through since 2011.

Speaking with journalists in Kaduna, Goje said: "The presence of people who are suspected to be behind the constant attacks on our communities is seriously giving our people sleepless nights."

He then called on Governor Mukhtar Yero to do something about the situation which he described as a "security threat".
