JTF show off some of the weapons they seized from another raid

Four suspected gunmen were killed on Sunday at Ring Road, Hotoron Gabas by members of the Joint military Task Force [JTF] in Kano in an operation launched on one of homes of the suspected gunmen.
An eye witness confirmed that the shootout started around 9am and lasted for over two hours before the suspects were over powered by the JTF.
Residents of the area were thrown into panic running helter-skelter in search of safety following heavy explosions and gunshots.
Spokesman of the Joint military Task Force (JTF), Lieutenant Ikedichi Iweha confirmed the operation and the killings, saying that a number of arrests were also made during the operation.
Lieutenant Iweha declined further comment on the number of those actually arrested, but said that the operation was successful and would continue to until miscreants were finally flushed out from the area.
He therefore solicited for the cooperation of the general public in the effort to bring back peace to the state.
The area is presently cordoned off by security officials with no movement of vehicles or passersby allowed, as the joint task force operatives continued searching the area in an effort to make more arrests.
It was also observed that commercial activities in the area were none existent due to the heavy presence of the security operatives in the area, while residents remained indoors.
